High-demand loads are managed through a Load Management Module (sold separately) to prevent your generator from being overloaded.
Champion’s new aXis platform saves you time and money thanks to Power Line Carrier (PLC) technology. This technology piggybacks off your home’s existing wiring, letting your home standby generator talk to the automatic transfer switch and other components without needing to run separate wires from the generator to your switch!
Your home’s large electrical loads are assigned a priority level– from vital to managed. If your generator nears maximum capacity, pre-designated, high-demand appliances are automatically turned off to avoid overload. As soon as demand lowers, the generator automatically restores power to the managed appliances. Appliances are managed sequentially according to priority level. This allows you normal access to lights, refrigeration, outlets, and garage door openers.
Featuring a NEMA 3R Service Entry rated enclosure, this switch may be installed indoors or outdoors. It is also ETL listed to comply with UL standards for the US.
