With a rated line pull of 12,000 pounds, this winch installs quickly with our Speed Mount 2-inch hitch adapter, which is designed for quick and easy mounting, transportation and storage. Mount this winch on your truck or SUV with the included mounting adapter to quickly harness the strength of its 6.0HP (12V DC) series wound motor.
The convenient handles are 3-position adjustable, plus they serve as side guards to protect your winch. With a gear reduction ratio of 216:1, the winch boasts a line speed of 2.3 feet per minute with a full load, and 15.7 feet per minute with no load.
Made from hi-tech polyethylene, the high flexibility and low weight of synthetic rope prevent kinking, plus it won’t fray or curl. It also stores less kinetic energy and will not recoil with as much force as steel, and if it breaks, it can be repaired in the field, plus it floats. Since it’s free of wire splinters or burrs, there’s less chance of injury.
Designed with a stainless steel thimble and protective sleeve, the 85-foot by 11/32-inch synthetic winch rope has a minimum break strength of 15,000 pounds and is guided onto the 2.5 by 8.8-inch drum through the fairlead. Featuring a black anodized finish, the lightweight aluminum hawse fairlead is precisely machined to maximize the life of the rope.
The efficient three-stage planetary gear, braking system and free spooling clutch along with the hand-held quick-connect remote control and 12-foot cable offer excellent control while winching. The included snatch block can be used to increase winching power or to aid in angled pulls.
In the box, you’ll also receive a handy strap, 6-foot battery lead cables and a fitted weather-resistant neoprene cover.
